Geriatric Use:
It has been reported in the literature that relative to healthy adult subjects under 45 years of age, 40-50% of patients in healthy elderly subjects (65 years of age or older) taking 750 mg of cefaclor alone have high AUC and 20% of patients have low renal clearance. These differences were mainly due to age-related functional renal disease. On clinical studies, when elderly patients were given the recommended adult dose, clinical outcomes and safety were similar to those of adult patients, and there were no differences in the doses given to elderly patients. Therefore, unless elderly patients are frail, malnourished, or have severe renal impairment, dose adjustments are generally not required.
Contraindications:
Cefaclor is contraindicated in patients with a known history of exposure to cephalosporin antibiotics.
Storage Conditions:
Shielded from light, sealed, stored in a dry place below 25℃.
Precautions for use:
1、Use with caution: pregnant women, lactating women and patients with renal insufficiency 2、Dietary precautions: avoid alcohol.
