Generic Name Cefixime Dispersible Tablets
The main ingredient of this product is cefixime, chemical name: (6R, 7R)-7-[(Z)-2-(2-amino-4-thiazolyl)-2-(carboxymethoxyimino)acetylamino]-3-ethylene-8-oxo-5-thia-1-azabicyclo[4.2.0]oct-2-ene-2-carboxylic acid trihydrate.
Indications Effective against the following infections caused by cefixime-susceptible organisms among Streptococcus spp. (except enterococci), Pneumococcus spp., Gonococcus spp., Cataplasmosis spp., Escherichia coli, Klebsiella spp., Serratia marcescens, Proteus spp., and Influenza spp.
1. Acute exacerbation of chronic bronchitis, acute bronchitis with exacerbation of bacterial infection, bronchodilatation combined with infection, pneumonia.
2. Pyelonephritis, cystitis, gonococcal urethritis.
3. Acute biliary system bacterial infection (cholecystitis, cholangitis).
4. Scarlet fever.
5. Otitis media, sinusitis.
