Scope of application/Intended use The ultrasonic cutting hemostatic knife system uses ultrasonic energy to cut through the soft tissue while performing hemostasis and/or coagulation during the procedure. The product is suitable for incision of soft tissues requiring control and minimal heat damage. It can close blood vessels less than 3mm in diameter. The product is not suitable for bone resection, tubal ligation, neurosurgery.
