When used correctly, medical adhesives generally begin curing in 3 to 5 seconds and finish curing in 15 to 60 seconds. After completion of curing, Compant® Medical Adhesive can reach its maximum strength and is not adhesive, at which time other tissues, surgical gauze, and surgical instruments can come into contact with the completed cured adhesive.
