RNaseOUT™ Recombinant Ribonuclease Inhibitor is a potent, non-competitive inhibitor of pancreatic ribonucleases such as RNase A agent, used in a variety of applications to avoid RNA degradation. RNaseOUT™ Recombinant Ribonuclease Inhibitor is an acidic protein with a molecular weight of ∼52 kDa. RNaseOUT™ inhibits RNase A, RNase B and RNase C.
Applications
cDNA synthesis, RT-PCR, and in vitro transcription and translation
Source
b>Purification from E. coliexpressing cloned pig genes by affinity chromatography
Performance and quality testing
SDS-PAGE purity, deoxyribose Endonuclease assay, protein concentration, specific activity, performance assessed by RT-PCR
Unit definition
Use cytidine 2´, 3´ cyclic monophosphate ( cCMP) as substrate, one unit can inhibit 50% of the activity of 5 ng RNase A
Unit reaction conditions
100 mM Tris-acetate (pH 6.5), 1 mM EDTA, 0.2 mM cCMP, 2 µg RNase A, 1 mL, 0 to 10 min at 25°C
