Dynabeads M-280 sheep anti-mouse IgG is an affinity-purified polyclonal sheep antibody covalently coupled to the surface of microbeads 2.8 µm superparamagnetic beads of mouse IgG. These microspheres are solid supports designed to bind mouse IgG and other target proteins simply and efficiently. Uniformly sized, monodisperse non-porous Dynabeads microbeads are flexible products suitable for a variety of applications, such as immunoglobulin (Ig) binding, protein purification, sandwich immunoassays, immunoprecipitation (Ip), and co-immunoprecipitation (Co-IP). ) and separation of cells from microorganisms. Polyclonal sheep antibodies bind mouse IgG1, IgG2a, and IgG2b and are less reactive toward mouse IgG3 and IgM. Human cross-reactivity is lower.

Manual Dynabeads separations can be performed quickly and easily
Primary antibodies that recognize the target molecule can be added to the sample (indirect technique) or pre-coated onto Dynabeads M-280 sheep anti-mouse IgG (direct technique). Regardless of the technology used, when Dynabeads M-280 Sheep Anti-Mouse IgG is mixed with the sample, the beads bind the target. Placing the sample on the DynaMag magnetic stand separates the bead-bound target molecules from the rest of the sample. The supernatant was then removed by aspiration. Target molecules can be eluted from the beads using traditional elution methods and used for applications such as Western blotting or mass spectrometry, or used for further downstream applications while remaining attached to the beads.

Dynabeads automated separations help increase throughput and reduce hands-on time

The automated protocol replicates the manual protocol, resulting in the same high target protein yields as well as the same low non-specific binding and high reproducibility. Whether you are processing 10 or 96 samples, the IP protocol can be completed in 40 minutes. 'Simply load reagents onto the plate, press the "Start" button, and by the time you're ready for downstream analysis, the IP is complete. Depending on the abundance and/or specificity of the antibody and target protein, some optimization (e.g., incubation time) may be required.
