Dynabeads™ Mouse pan B (B220) are homogeneous, superparamagnetic microbeads (4.5 µm diameter) that easily isolate mice from spleen or lymph nodes B cells, but any single cell suspension may be used. Dynabeads™ mouse pan B microbeads are coated with primary monoclonal antibodies specific for the B220 membrane antigen. B220 (also known as CD45R) is expressed on all B cells throughout development, starting from the early progenitor B stage of B cell differentiation. Add Dynabeads™ mouse pan B, which binds B cells during a short incubation period, to the culture tube, then use Magnet Stand Separates bead-bound cells from unbound cells. This rapid and gentle separation method does not require the use of chromatography columns and helps ensure high purity, recovery, and viability of isolated B cells.

Suitable for removal and positive isolation of downstream molecular detection
Dynabeads™ Mouse pan B (B220) can be used with viscous samples thanks to the powerful magnetic stand for separation, Such as single cell suspensions from tissues, whole blood and bone marrow, and can effectively remove mouse B cells in about 30 minutes. When used for positive isolation for downstream research, Dynabeads™ mouse pan B can also efficiently recover high-purity viable cells; for example, cells are lysed but remain attached to the beads and further purified nucleic acids or proteins. Please note that these beads do not release viable cells. Therefore, if you want to isolate mouse B cells for cell-based applications, or need to examine samples using flow cytometry, you should use Dynabeads™ Mouse CD43 (Untouched™ B Cells).
