Dynabeads™ Mouse CD8 (Lyt 2) is a magnetic bead that provides a robust, versatile tool for direct Isolate or remove mouse CD8+ T cells from any sample, including tissue digests such as spleen or lymph node, whole blood, bone marrow, and mononuclear cells (MNC).
• Rapid isolation of mouse CD8+ T cells from any sample – no columns required
• Positive isolation for molecular downstream detection or efficient removal of mouse CD8+ T cells
Recovered cells have excellent yield, purity and viability
Dynabeads™ Mouse CD8 (Lyt 2) are homogeneous, superparamagnetic micron Beads (4.5 µm diameter) allow easy isolation of mouse CD8+ cells from spleen or lymph nodes, but any single cell suspension may be used. Dynabeads™ Mouse CD8 Microbeads are coated with a primary monoclonal antibody specific for the Lyt 2 membrane antigen expressed primarily on the cytotoxic/inhibitory subset of mature T cells of all common mouse strains. Add Dynabeads™ Mouse CD8 to the culture tube, which will bind to CD8+ cells during a short incubation, then Magnet Stand Separates bead-bound cells from unbound cells. This rapid and gentle separation method does not require the use of chromatography columns and helps ensure high purity, recovery and viability of isolated CD8+ positive cells.
Suitable for removal and positive isolation for downstream molecular detection
Thanks to the powerful magnet for separation, Dynabeads™ Mouse CD8 (Lyt 2) can be used with viscous samples such as Single cell suspensions from tissue, whole blood and bone marrow and effectively deplete mouse CD8+ cells in approximately 30 minutes. Dynabeads™ Mouse CD8 (Lyt 2) also allows efficient recovery of high-purity viable cells when used for positive isolation for downstream molecular studies; for example, cells are lysed but remain attached to the beads and further purified nucleic acids or proteins. Please note that these beads do not release intact cells, so if you want to isolate mouse CD8+ cells for cell-based applications or need to examine samples using flow cytometry analysis, You should use Dynabeads™ FlowComp Mouse CD8+ Cells (for bead-free cells).
