Gateway® LR Clonase® Enzyme Blend contains proprietary Int (integrase), IHF (integrated host factor) and Xis ( Excisionase), which can catalyze the in vitro recombination between the entry vector (containing the target gene flanked by attL sites) and the destination vector (containing attR sites) to produce expression clones. We offer LR Clonase enzyme mixes in different strengths depending on the specific application and required format. LR Clonase II Plus enzyme mix is the latest product model that provides the highest recombination efficiency (Table 1) and is specifically optimized for single- and multi-fragment cloning (Table 1). LR Clonase II Plus is an optimized single enzyme mix containing enzyme and reaction buffer that requires fewer steps for single and multi-fragment cloning, ensuring enzyme stability and ease of use. Our LR Clonase II enzyme mix is also available as a single mix, while the original LR Clonase® enzyme is available in individual tubes of enzyme and buffer
