DynaMag™-96 Magnetic Rack with Side Guards is optimized to accommodate various types of Dynabeads™ in multi-well reaction plates (diameter range 1–4.5 µm) pulled to the side. The magnetic stand features 6 rod-type magnetic stands and is compatible with most 96-well rimmed PCR reaction plates, petri dishes, 96-well round bottom plates, 96-well flat bottom plates, 24-well plates, 12-well plates and 6-well plates. (Not recommended for use with 48-well plates). Working volume per well (5–200 µL). Please note that reaction plate sizes may vary and you should test your plate for compatibility.

Efficient mixing without sample manipulation
Move the 96-well plate back and forth from the rightmost position to the leftmost position to mix. The back-and-forth movement aspirates beads from the sample and enables mixing without manipulation, increasing processing speed and reducing sample manipulation-induced variability.

When used in conjunction with the DynaMag™-96 Bottom Magnetic Stand on an automated platform, these two magnetic stands enable significant volume changes throughout the workflow .
