These are hydrophilic Dynabeads™ (2.8 µm) containing carboxylic acid groups. The surface is a carboxylic acid group, which can be covalently connected to the primary amino group or primary thiol group of the protein/polypeptide to form an amide bond.
•The reaction requires rapid and gentle coupling at low temperature and a neutral or acidic pH value
•Requires activation with carbodiimide
•If other than carboxyl groups are required Reactive groups can be introduced using commercially available cross-linkers
Applications:
Ideal for separating small molecule components such as proteins and peptides. Immobilize unstable proteins/peptides and N-terminally couple the peptide. Weaker non-specific binding ability to nucleic acids.
