About Nano, Capillary and Micro Acclaim PepMap Columns

Nano (75µm), capillary (300µm) and micro (1000µm) columns are ideal for protein and peptide analysis . Often, there are limitations on sample volume, and smaller inner diameter columns can improve sensitivity when sample is limited. While nanoLC columns are commonly used in proteomics, the concentrating effects of capillary and microcolumns are beneficial for metabolomics or advancing LC-MS ligation. Thermo Scientific Acclaim PepMap columns offer nano, capillary and micro columns in a variety of chemistries for peptide and protein analysis.

PepMap Trap columns can be used to desalt and preconcentrate peptides prior to liquid chromatography separation with mass spectrometry detection. Capture columns provide maximum efficiency for 1D peptide mapping experiments and 2D-LC analysis.
