Features: - 4 and 8L sizes have larger built-in shoulder loops for identification labeling
- Lighter weight than glass alternatives for easier handling Take
- The translucent design makes it easy to check the liquid level
- The unlined cap ensures leak-proof † protective effect. If not used, it will cause wrinkles, leakage or contamination of reagents.
- Autoclavable/leak-proof when used with Nalgene caps †
- Made from non-toxic materials
Includes:
Polypropylene threaded cap
Note:
Before high temperature sterilization, please Unscrew the screw cap completely or remove the cap. Nalgene LDPE, HDPE, PP and PMP containers can be used for long-term storage, but direct exposure to UV light should be avoided.
Recycling Information:Reusable Nalgene polypropylene (PP) and polypropylene copolymer (PPCO) bottles are durable under typical laboratory conditions. However, like all durable products, they are eventually discontinued and replaced. The bottles and their packaging are recycled in many communities. Please recycle the cartons and LDPE bags in which Nalgene bottles are packaged. When the product reaches the end of its service life, if the community provides recycling services, please wash the Nalgene PP and PPCO bottles and let the community recycle them.
† The term "leak-proof" applies to Thermo Scientific Nalgene products that meet the following standards: a) For bottle/flask/funnel sealing systems with cap sizes less than 100 mm, When filled with water, invert it for 2 minutes under a gas pressure of 2 psig so that the water inside will not escape; b) For bottle/funnel/flask sealing systems with cap sizes greater than 100 mm, after filled with water, Turn it upside down for 15 minutes and the water inside will not overflow. Note: If other liquids are used for the above test, different results may be obtained. To ensure safe use, customers are advised to test Thermo Scientific Nalgene bottles and closures under planned application conditions. Thermo Scientific Nalgene products are leak-proof when used with Nalgene sealing caps at room temperature and pressure.
