Recycling Information:

Reusable Nalgene labware products in typical Durable under laboratory conditions. However, like all durable products, they are eventually discontinued and replaced. Thermo Fisher Scientific encourages the recycling of Nalgene polypropylene (PP) and polypropylene copolymer (PPCO) laboratoryware at end-of-life where polypropylene is recycled. Please recycle also the corrugated carton and any plastic bags (LDPE) contained in product packaging.

Warning: Can be autoclaved, but accuracy will be affected. Before autoclaving, remove the cap and snap it on top of the bottle, but do not tighten it.

† The term "leak-proof" applies to Thermo Scientific Nalgene products that meet the following standards: a) For bottle/flask/funnel sealing systems with cap sizes less than 100 mm, when filled with water, at a gas pressure of 2 psig , if it is inverted for 2 minutes, the water inside will not overflow; b) For a bottle/funnel/flask sealing system with a cap size greater than 100 mm, after it is filled with water, turn it upside down for 15 minutes, and the water inside will not overflow. Note: If other liquids are used for the above test, different results may be obtained. To ensure safe use, customers are advised to test Thermo Scientific Nalgene bottles and closures under planned application conditions. Thermo Scientific Nalgene products are leak-proof when used with Nalgene sealing caps at room temperature and pressure.
