Applied Biosystems™ GeneAmp™ Thermal Insulation Frame balances thermal homogeneity in the 0.5 mL GeneAmp™ PCR System 9700. When used with 0.5 mL GeneAmp™ Reaction Tubes, the GeneAmp™ Thermal Insulation Frame creates a proper thermal physical seal between the heated lid and reaction tube.

During PCR, it is critical that the thermal cycler lid does not squeeze your sample tubes and fully heat the sample. The GeneAmp™ thermally insulated frame is designed to fit snugly around your sample to ensure reproducible results.

Designed for ease of use

This sturdy reinforced fiberglass frame securely fits the thermal cycler sample stage. When you close the thermal cycler lid, the GeneAmp™ thermally insulating frame also ensures even contact between the lid and tube. You can leave the frame on the thermal cycler for continuous back-to-back runs.
