Borate is one of the least retained anions among anion exchange materials and is the first to be able to penetrate many types of water purification systems substance. In the power generation and semiconductor industries, monitoring trace amounts of borate can be used to determine the efficiency of water treatment systems. Ion exclusion methods combined with suppressed conductivity detection can provide an all-in-one solution for such applications.

This easy-to-use borate chromatography system can significantly improve the practicality and reliability of trace bromate detection. During detection, the sample first passes through a Dionex IonPac TBC-1 concentration column. After the sample is concentrated, it is sequentially switched to an analytical column for elution and detection.
