Quickly isolate high-purity mRNA directly from various samples
Dynabeads™ mRNA Direct Kit Contains magnetic beads for isolating mRNA transcriptomes from a variety of samples. Due to the presence of RNase inhibitors in the lysis/binding buffer, combined with stringent hybridization and washing steps, intact mRNA can be isolated. Ribosomal RNA and small RNA molecules (transfer RNA, microRNA, small nucleolar RNA, and small cytoplasmic RNA) do not bind to the beads and cannot be eliminated from the preparation. Only polyadenylated RNA (mRNA) is captured, resulting in cleaner preparations and more sensitive results. Highly pure mRNA is isolated in just minutes and is ready for downstream applications.

Ready-to-use enrichment procedure
Dynabeads™ mRNA DIRECT™ Microextraction Kit uses robust affinity purification principles to polyadenylate mRNA. Superparamagnetic Dynabeads™ beads are coupled to oligo-(dT)₂₅, equilibrated in lysis/binding buffer, and then mixed with cell or tissue lysate to bind mRNA. The beads are then washed to remove contaminating RNA material, and the mRNA is eluted with as little as 5 µl of 10 mM Tris-HCl. Use the Neodymium Magnetic Stand (purchased separately) to promote The entire process enables rapid and efficient immobilization of magnetic beads during buffer exchange.

Suitable for a variety of sample types
Virtually any biological sample of vertebrate, invertebrate, plant, fungal or bacterial origin can be used with the Dynabeads™ mRNA DIRECT™ Kit use together. The kit is also ideal for the extraction of mRNA and viral polyadenylated RNA from blood, serum, and sputum. In addition, the Dynabeads™ mRNA DIRECT™ Kit can be used to extract nucleic acid preparations, including total RNA and unfractionated nucleic acid samples and formalin-fixed paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue.
