Paired with pulsed amperometric detection (PAD), this anion exchange column provides fast, reproducible separations without derivatization. This hydrophobic, polymeric, thin-film anion exchange resin packing material is stable in the pH range 0–14. This unique pH stability allows the use of highly conductive eluents, ensuring that sugar compounds can be anodized on the gold electrode.

About the Dionex CarboPac Column Family
The Dionex CarboPac family offers a selection of high performance liquid chromatography (HPLC) columns, each optimized for a different class of compound. In combination with PADs, which enable the detection of sugar compounds without the need for derivatization, these columns enable simple and reliable separations of sugar alcohols, mono- and disaccharides, polysaccharides, and oligosaccharides.
