Hydrophilic interaction liquid chromatography using Thermo Scientific™ Acclaim™ HILIC-10 LC columns enables the separation of highly hydrophilic molecules. These columns retain and separate highly polar molecules that reversed-phase chromatography cannot. Its high-purity, spherical, porous silica matrix is covalently modified using a patented hydrophilic layer. This chemistry allows the use of 5–20% aqueous mobile phases while maintaining affinity for polar analytes. The sample throughput is increased, and there is no need to volatilize and reconstitute samples dissolved in non-aqueous solvents.
