The shorter 150 mm Dionex IonPac AS18-Fast column is more efficient than the longer 250 mm column. When analyzing relatively clean matrices, it runs quickly and is available in three specifications with guard columns:
- 4x150mm standard hole AS18-Fast column, with 4x30mm guard column < li>2x150mm microbore AS18-Fast column with 2x30mm guard column
- 0.4x150mm capillary AS18-Fast column with 0.4x35mm guard column
Capillary columns can significantly reduce operating and waste disposal costs by saving eluent. Dionex IonPac AS18-Fast capillary columns use the same packing material as their standard and microbore counterparts and therefore provide the same performance. Operating costs are reduced because the eluent flow rate when operating a capillary system is only 1% of a standard orifice system. Capillary columns can be used with Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ ICS-4000 and ICS-5000+ capillary systems.
Need higher resolution or faster separation?- If you require higher resolution separations of more complex sample matrices, choose the longer 250mm Dionex™ IonPac™ AS18 Hydroxide Selective Anion Exchange Column < li>For faster, higher-resolution separations of relatively clean sample matrices, use the small particle size Dionex™ IonPac™ AS18-4µm hydroxide-selective anion exchange column. Using 4µm columns requires a high-pressure IC system.
