Excellent glycan selectivity, industry-leading resolution
Ultra-high resolution and selectivity for glycans is due to the innovative mixed-mode surface chemistry of the GlycanPac AXR-1 column, which combines:
- WAX functionality for retention of negatively charged glycans, separating them in order of increasing charge
- Reversed-phase functionality for like-charged glycans, separating them based on isomerism and size
This high-purity spherical silica column is designed for HPLC and UHPLC methods and tested using either fluorescence or MS detection applications. GlycanPac AXR-1 columns use a volatile aqueous buffer (e.g., ammonium acetate or formate) and acetonitrile to direct eluted glycans to the MS instrument.
