Highest resolution separation of ammonium and sodium in multiple matrices at varying concentration ratios (up to 10,000:1)
  • Recommended for the separation of trace levels of ammonium in highly concentrated sodium solutions , no sample pretreatment is required
  • Recommended for the separation of trace levels of sodium in high-concentration ammonium solutions, without sample pretreatment
  • 250 mm Dionex IonPac CS16-4µm is suitable for complex Matrix
  • 150 mm Dionex IonPac CS16-Fast-4µm is suitable for faster analysis in simple matrices.
  • Easily transfer applications from Dionex IonPac CS16 columns to 4 µm columns due to similar selectivity
  • High capacity allows for easy injection of high concentration samples without Cause column overloading or peak broadening
  • Compatible with organic solvents (excluding alcohols) to enhance analyte solubility, optimize column selectivity, and facilitate efficient column cleaning
Use with high-pressure ion chromatography systems

By using smaller resin particles, higher resolutions can be achieved and generate column backpressures in excess of 3000 psi at standard flow rates. Running this column under standard conditions and taking advantage of high flow rates and short run times requires a high-pressure IC system, such as the Thermo Scientific™ Dionex™ ICS-5000+ HPIC™ or the Thermo Scientific Dionex ICS-4000 Capillary HPIC system.

Lower eluent requirements, lower operating costs

Dionex IonPac CS16-4µm and IonPac CS16-Fast-4µm capillary columns provide the same performance as Standard bore and microbore Dionex IonPac CS16-4µm columns are identical. Because capillary systems operate at only 1% of the eluent flow rate of standard orifice systems, less eluent is required and less waste is produced, thus reducing operating costs.

Available in a variety of formats for application flexibility
  • 4 x 250 mm, 4 x 150 mm, 2 x 250 mm and 2 x 150 mm analytical columns
  • 4 x 50 mm, 4 x 30 mm, 2 x 50 mm and 2 x 30 mm analytical and guard columns
  • 0.4 x 250 mm and 0.4 x 150 mm capillary columns
  • 0.4 x 50 mm and 0.4 x 35 mm capillary columns and guard columns
  • Longer 250mm columns for higher resolution separations of more complex sample matrices
  • Shorter The 150mm column enables faster analysis of simple matrices
  • Smaller column diameter improves mass sensitivity, saves eluent and reagents, and reduces running costs
