Thermo Scientific Pierce Anti-HA Magnetic Beads are designed for the isolation of bacterial or mammalian cells orin vitrosystems.

Features of anti-HA magnetic beads:

Specificity—Highly specific anti-HA monoclonal antibody (clone 2-2.2.14) enables high yields Immunoprecipitation with high efficiency and high purity
Convenient and fast—Product instructions provide an easy-to-follow optimized protocol that completes the immunoprecipitation in about an hour
Low-FeSpec Heterosexual Binding—Stable, pre-blocked magnetic beads and specific antibodies minimize off-target binding for HA tag IP or co-IP experiments
Universal—Beads compatible with manual and automated workflows (e.g., Thermo Scientific KingFisher instruments)

The blocked magnetic beads are coated with anti-HA antibody, a highly specific mouse IgG1 monoclonal antibody that recognizes blood derived from human influenza HA epitope tag (YPYDVPDYA) for lectin (HA) proteins. Pierce Anti-HA Magnetic Beads can be used with magnetic stands for manual manipulation or on automated platforms, such as Thermo Scientific KingFisher instruments, for high-throughput workflows.

Product details:
Pierce anti-HA magnetic beads are very convenient and can be used for immunoprecipitation (IP) of recombinant HA-tagged proteins. ) and co-immunoprecipitation (co-IP) of its interacting proteins. The beads were incubated with cell lysates containing HA-tagged proteins and captured the fusion proteins. Subsequently, the beads are washed and the target protein is eluted using 0.1 M glycine (pH 2.0), 50 mM NaOH, or SDS-PAGE sample buffer. If milder elution conditions are required, 2 mg/mL Pierce HA Peptide can be used. The protocol was optimized for each of the above conditions. Anti-HA antibodies can be used to detect HA-tagged proteins by Western blot analysis.
