Highly accurate genotyping using purified or crude lysate loading
In situations where small amounts of sample are available or PCR inhibitors are unavoidable (e.g. in clinical diagnostic testing center), accurate genotyping is very important. TaqPath ProAmp Master Mix has been optimized to provide accurate and reproducible results even in low-volume reactions prepared using purified or crude lysate sample input. The graph below shows the genotyping accuracy of the same set of TaqMan genotyping assays using crude lysates from blood samples compared to competitor mixtures. TaqPath ProAmp Master Mix has been optimized to provide highly specific allelic discrimination, as demonstrated by excellent cluster separation in genotyping plots, whether the sample is purified genomic DNA or crude lysate.

High-Accuracy Copy Number Quantification
The versatile TaqPath ProAmp Master Mix also enables high-accuracy determination of copy number variations using purified genomic DNA samples. The graph below shows the copy number variation results using TaqPath ProAmp Master Mix compared to two other mixes. TaqPath ProAmp Master Mix can be used to accurately determine copy number in samples containing up to four copy numbers.
