MagMAX DNA Multi-Sample Ultra 2.0 Kit is an automated magnetic bead sample preparation technology for samples from 50 µL to 2 Genomic DNA (gDNA) was isolated from mL whole blood, saliva, buffy coat, and buccal swabs. The resulting purified gDNA is ideally suited for a variety of downstream molecular biology applications, such as qPCR, next-generation sequencing, and microarray analysis. One kit is sufficient to process 200 samples of 50–200 µL or 100 samples of 200–400 µL, except buffy coat samples. For buffy coat alone, one kit is sufficient to process 40–60 samples with a starting volume of 50–200 μL. To process up to 200 buffy coat samples, purchase additional eluent (Cat. No. A36582).

Isolate genomic DNA from multiple sample types using a single sample preparation kit
MagMAX DNA Multi-Sample Ultra 2.0 Kit can be used from 50 µL–2 mL whole blood (see image below), fresh and stabilized saliva (see image below), and EDTA/Streck cfDNA tube buffy coat (see image below) samples Isolate gDNA. Ideal for KingFisher Purification Systems
The MagMAX DNA Multisample Ultra 2.0 Kit is optimized for use with the mid-throughput KingFisher Duo Prime (Cat. No. 5400110) and higher-throughput KingFisher Flex (Cat. No. 5400630) purification system. Using the Flex System, users can process up to 400 µL sample volumes in high-throughput SBS 96-well deep well microtiter plates. For smaller sample batches, users can use the Duo Prime system to process 12 samples. For larger sample input volumes (1–2 mL) that are more difficult to handle, 24 samples on the Flex or 6 samples on the Duo Prime system were purified in SBS 24-well deep well microtiter plates. KingFisher Instruments BindIt software scripts for all sample types and Flex and Duo Prime systems can be downloaded below and installed on KingFisher instruments.

Processing higher throughput samples?
We offer the same stand-alone reagents as the MagMAX DNA Multi-Sample Ultra 2.0 Kit reagents but suitable for automation. MagMAX DNA Multi-Sample Ultra 2.0 stand-alone reagent bottles are larger and more easily handle high-throughput workflows. If the user purchases 6 separate reagents at one time, the amount of MagMAX DNA Multi-sample Ultra 2.0 reagent obtained will be enough to process 2000 samples of 50–200 μL or 1000 samples of 200–400 μL.
