This high-purity Ambion™ enzyme is a mixture of clonal RNA polymerase and RNase inhibitors. It is highly specific for promoters and can transcribe large amounts of RNA without cross-interference between promoters. It is supplied in single tubes containing 30,000 U of enzyme at a concentration of 200 U/µL. The enzyme can incorporate radiolabeled nucleotides as well as a variety of modified nucleotides. The addition of an RNase inhibitor provides broad-spectrum protection against enzymatic cleavage of synthetic RNA, making the enzyme ideal for RNA synthesis with blotting and in situ hybridization probes, RPA analysis, in vitro Translation and reverse strand RNA.
