ChargeSwitch™ Plasmid ER Miniprep Kit utilizes magnetic bead technology and does not require the use of chaotropic salts, organic solvents or ethanol, i.e. Plasmid DNA can be purified quickly and efficiently from 1-5 mL of fresh, overnight bacterial cultures, yielding up to 20 µg of transfection-grade plasmid DNA in a total time of approximately 10 minutes after sample preparation.
•Optimized for higher purity DNA extraction
• Comes with magnetic rack for improved performance
• Purified plasmids are cleaner for optimal downstream performance
High-quality, high-yield plasmid DNA The ChargeSwitch™ Plasmid ER (Endotoxin Reduced) Miniprep Kit enables rapid and efficient purification of high-purity plasmid DNA from
E. coli cells. . After preparing cell lysates, plasmid DNA can be purified from the lysate in less than 10 minutes using a novel magnetic bead technology that uses magnetic beads coupled to a unique, ionizable functional group with an affinity for nucleic acids. Dependent on pH, facilitates nucleic acid purification. Up to 20 µg of plasmid DNA can typically be obtained from 1-5 mL of fresh, overnight bacterial culture without the need for chaotropic salts, ethanol, organic matter, or isopropanol precipitation, making it ideal for mammalian transfection. The ChargeSwitch™ Plasmid ER Mini Kit includes Endotoxin Reduction Reagent (ETRR), which significantly reduces endotoxin levels in purified plasmid DNA (less than 50 EU/µg DNA).
Compatible with MagnaRack™ Magnetic Racks The ChargeSwitch™ Plasmid ER Mini Kit requires the use of a magnetic rack. We recommend the
MagnaRack™ Magnetic Rack, which is a two-piece magnetic separation rack consisting of a magnetic base and Composed of a removable test tube rack. The test tube rack is positioned on the magnetic base in two different positions, combining a row of 12 neodymium magnets with a single row of 12 tubes, allowing for easy "on magnet" and "off magnet" sample handling.
Reliable performance in a variety of downstream applications ChargeSwitch™ Plasmid ER Miniprep Kits help ensure that the resulting purified plasmid DNA can be used in a variety of downstream applications, including sequencing , cloning, PCR, mammalian cell transfection, bacterial cell transformation,
in vitro transcription and nucleic acid labeling).
