Rapid purification protocols
The ChargeSwitch™ gDNA Standardized Oral Cell Kit purifies genomic DNA from human oral cell swabs or granulosa cells from mouthwash in 15 minutes after lysis buffer preparation. The ChargeSwitch™ gDNA Standardized Oral Cell Kit uses magnetic beads with unique, ionizable functional groups whose affinity for nucleic acids depends on pH, allowing for easy nucleic acid purification. It eliminates the need for lengthy quantification and dilution steps and purifies high-quality genomic DNA at standardized concentrations of 1-3 ng/µL in a total volume of 150 µL (Figure 1). Samples can be stored at 4°C for up to 2 weeks before processing without significant loss in DNA yield or quality.
