Thermo Scientific Esp3I (BsmBI) restriction endonuclease recognizes CGTCTC( 1/5)^ site, cleaves better in Tango (+DTT) buffer at 37°C. See Reaction Conditions for Restriction Enzymes table to learn about the enzymatic activity of this enzyme and other restriction enzymes , double enzyme digestion conditions and heat inactivation. Note:This enzyme requires DTT. Freshly prepared DTT should be added to the reaction buffer. Esp3I can cleave downstream of its recognition site and generate any desired 4-base 5'-overhang. This feature can be used for PCR product cloning. See product specifications for methylation sensitivity.
