Thermo Scientific Phire Plant Direct PCR Kit amplifies DNA directly from plant samples. No DNA purification is required before PCR. The kit is based on Phire Hot Start II DNA Polymerase, a specially designed enzyme containing a DNA-binding domain. The unique properties of this DNA polymerase make it extremely stable and resistant to a wide range of PCR inhibitors found in plants, fungi and bacteria.
This kit contains a complete set of optimized PCR reagents and detailed protocols for different types of samples, making it ideal for plant DNA amplification. In addition, the kit also contains control primers for positive control reactions. This control primer amplifies a highly conserved chloroplast DNA region and is suitable for a variety of plant species.
