Cell Lysis Buffer II is a high-quality, ready-to-use lysis buffer suitable for preparation of ELISA, Western Cell extracts for blotting and antibody bead immunoassay (Luminex) applications. This buffer is used for total protein extraction and utilizes detergent-based lysis without the need for mechanical cell disruption. This preparation helps preserve protein structure and function required for enzymatic or immunoassay testing.

Buffer recipe:50 mM Tris (pH 7.4), 250 mM NaCl, 5 mM EDTA, 50 mM NaF, 1 mM Na₃VO ₄, 1% detergent, 0.02% NaN₃

This cell lysis buffer does not contain protease inhibitors and should be supplemented 1 just before use mM PMSF and protease inhibitor cocktail.
