Principle
< br>Harvest and lyse bacterial cultures. The lysate is then cleared by centrifugation and applied to a silica column to selectively bind DNA molecules at high salt concentrations. Wash the adsorbed DNA to remove contaminants and elute the pure plasmid DNA in a small amount of elution buffer or water. Purified DNA is ready for use in all molecular biology procedures, such as rapid and conventional restriction enzyme digestion, PCR, in vitro transcription, transformation and automated sequencing.
