Thermo Scientific GeneJET Genomic DNA Purification Kits are designed to purify DNA from a variety of mammalian cell cultures and tissue samples, whole blood, Rapid, efficient purification of high-quality genomic DNA from bacteria and yeast.

The kit uses silica membrane technology in a convenient spin column format, eliminating the need for expensive resins, toxic phenol-chloroform extraction, or time-consuming alcohol precipitation.

The standard procedure after cell lysis takes less than 20 minutes and yields purified DNA greater than 30 kb in size. The isolated DNA can be used directly for PCR, Southern blotting and enzymatic reactions.
