The Thermo Scientific GeneJET FFPE DNA Purification Kit is designed to quickly and easily purify DNA from varying amounts of archival FFPE tissue. Up to 8 sections (10 μm thickness) of FFPE samples from various tissues can be used for genomic DNA extraction without overnight incubation. Eliminating toxic reagents commonly used for deparaffinization (i.e., xylene) results in a safe DNA purification procedure with high DNA yields and excellent quality. Recover up to 8 μg of genomic DNA per preparation, which can be eluted in 20 μL volumes for sample concentration. Due to high decross-linking efficiency, high-quality purified DNA exhibits reliable performance in sensitive downstream applications such as qPCR, PCR (amplicons up to 1 kb) or NGS library preparation.
