Thermo Scientific 6X MassRuler DNA Loading Stain is used to prepare DNA for loading on agarose or polyacrylamide gels Markers and samples. This product contains a dye (bromophenol blue) used to track the migration of DNA molecules in gel electrophoresis. Glycerol ensures that the ladder and DNA in the sample settle at the bottom of the well. EDTA contained in the solution can bind to divalent metal ions and inhibit metal-dependent nucleases.
