QuEChERS AOAC 2007.01 Method Purification Kit
These kits use dispersive solid phase extraction (dSPE) to purify the supernatant obtained during the extraction process. Purification kits are available in prefilled 2 mL and 15 mL tube sizes for the following matrices: general fruits and vegetables, colored fruits and vegetables, fat- and wax-containing fruits and vegetables, and all other food types.
Chemicals used in AOAC 2007.01 method
- Acetonitrile:For single-phase extraction of samples< /li>
- Anhydrous MgSO4:In the liquid-liquid distribution process, the moisture in the sample is induced to phase separate from the acetonitrile layer; in the dSPE process, the residual moisture in the sample is removed li>
- NaOAc: buffers the sample to stabilize the pH
- PSA: primary amine used to remove from the sample during dispersive solid phase extraction Polar matrix components, citric acid co-extractives, and free fatty acids
- C18:Remove fats, sterols, and other non-polar interferences from samples < li>GCB:Graphitized carbon black to remove pigments (not recommended for planar structure pesticides)
