Ingredients:This product is a compound preparation of valsartan and hydrochlorothiazide.
Properties:This product is a capsule, the contents of which are white or off-white granules.
Indications:Used for the treatment of mild to moderate essential hypertension when blood pressure cannot be adequately controlled by a single drug.
Use and Dosage:When blood pressure cannot be controlled satisfactorily by single treatment with valsartan, when blood pressure cannot be controlled satisfactorily by hydrochlorothiazide 25mg once a day, or when hypokalemia occurs, this product (containing valsartan 80mg/hydrochlorothiazide 12.5mg) can be changed to one capsule each time, once a day, and the maximum anti-hypertensive efficacy can be achieved within 2-4 weeks of taking the drug. The administration of this product is independent of meal times. No dosage adjustment is required for patients with mild to moderate renal failure (creatinine clearance ≥ 30 mL/min) or mild to moderate hepatic failure.
