Magnetic bead separation allows for easy handling
A cocktail of anti-non-monocyte antibodies is added to the sample to enable it to bind to the cells. After a quick wash, Dynabeads are added and bind to the antibody-labeled cells during a brief incubation time. Bead-bound cells on the magnetic rack are rapidly detached and discarded. The remaining negative isolated human monocytes can be analyzed directly in a flow cytometer and used for any application.
