Dynabeads™ Mouse pan T (Thy 1.2) are homogeneous, superparamagnetic microbeads (4.5 µm diameter) that easily isolate small cells from spleen or lymph nodes Murine T cells, but any single cell suspension may be used. Dynabeads™ mouse pan T beads are coated with a primary monoclonal antibody specific for the Thy 1.2 membrane antigen expressed on peripheral T cells, thymocytes, and intraepithelial T lymphocytes of all common mouse strains. Add Dynabeads™ mouse pan T to the culture tube, which binds T cells during a short incubation period, then use Magnet Stand Separates bead-bound cells from unbound cells. This rapid and gentle separation method does not require the use of chromatography columns and helps ensure high purity, recovery, and viability of isolated T cells.

Suitable for removal and positive isolation of downstream molecular detection
Dynabeads™ mouse pan T (Thy 1.2) can be used with viscous samples thanks to the powerful magnetic stand for separation , such as single cell suspensions from tissue, whole blood, and bone marrow, and can effectively remove mouse T cells in approximately 30 minutes. Dynabeads™ mouse pan T also allows efficient recovery of highly pure viable cells when used for positive isolation for downstream research; for example, cells are lysed but remain attached to the beads and further purified nucleic acids or proteins. Note that these beads do not release intact cells, so if you want to isolate mouse T cells for cell-based applications, or need to examine samples using flow cytometry, you should use Dynabeads™ FlowComp Mouse Pan T (CD90.2) (for bead-free cells).
