Recommended to use Thermo Scientific GeneRuler High Range DNA Ladder on agarose gel (0.4% agarose gels in 1.5 hours gel) for rapid sizing and approximate quantification of high molecular weight double-stranded DNA. This molecular weight standard is a mixture of chromatographically purified individual DNA fragments.

GeneRuler High Range DNA Ladders can be radiolabeled with T4 Polynucleotide Kinase (see Resources for protocol.)

The Ladders are supplied with 6X Orange DNA Loading Dye.
