Recovered cells with excellent yield, purity and viability
Dynabeads™ Mouse CD4 are uniform, superparamagnetic microbeads (4.5 µm diameter), mouse CD4+ cells can be easily isolated from spleen or lymph nodes, but any single cell suspension may be used. Dynabeads™ Mouse CD4 Beads are coated with a primary monoclonal antibody specific for the CD4 membrane antigen expressed primarily on mouse helper T cells. Add Dynabeads™ Mouse CD4 to the culture tube, which will bind to CD4+ cells during a short incubation, then Magnet Stand Separates bead-bound cells from unbound cells. This rapid and gentle separation method does not require the use of chromatography columns and helps ensure high purity, recovery and viability of isolated CD4+ positive cells.

Suitable for removal and positive isolation of downstream molecular assays
Due to the powerful magnets used for isolation, Dynabeads™ Mouse CD4 can be used with viscous samples such as those from tissue, whole A single cell suspension of blood and bone marrow, and can effectively remove mouse CD4+ cells in approximately 30 minutes. Dynabeads™ Mouse CD4 also allows efficient recovery of high-purity viable cells when used for positive isolation for downstream molecular studies; for example, cells are lysed but remain attached to the beads and further purified nucleic acids or proteins. Please note that these beads do not release intact cells, so if you want to isolate mouse CD4+ cells for cell-based applications or need to examine samples using flow cytometry analysis, then DETACHaBEAD™ Mouse CD4 should be used with this product (for bead-free and antibody-free cells) or Dynabeads™ FlowComp Mouse CD4 Cells (a complete kit for bead-free cells).
