Efficient — Expect excellent RNA recovery from small samples (up to 100 µg total RNA)
• < b>Convenient and safe — Extraction steps do not use phenol/chloroform, CsCl gradients, or precipitation (using LiCl or ethanol)
Fast — Typically only 15 minutes to obtain high Quality total RNA
Reliable — Obtain ready-to-use RNA for any downstream application

A simple and reliable technique for routine RNA purification< br>PureLink™ technology combines the speed, purity and ease of use of guanidine isothiocyanate lysis with silica membrane purification. The safe and easy-to-use procedure typically takes less than 15 minutes to complete and provides >85% recovery on the first elution. This kit can be used for purification of RNA by enzymatic reaction, desalting of RNA samples after phenol extraction or ethanol precipitation, and concentration of RNA. Purify RNA from up to 10mg of tissue or 105 cells. Can clean and concentrate RNA amounts from pg to 100 µg in volumes as low as 10 µL. Purified RNA can be used in downstream applications such as RT-PCR, qRT-PCR, Northern blotting, cDNA library construction, and nuclease protection assays.

Simple and fast procedure
Homogenize sample in lysis buffer, add 70% ethanol, and mix. The resulting solution was stored in PureLink™ Micro Kit columns and collection tubes and centrifuged for one minute. After nucleic acids are bound to the PureLink™ silica membrane in the column, followed by washing and on-column digestion with DNase, the purified RNA can be eluted using RNase-free water.
