DynaMag™-5 Magnetic Stand can be used with Dynabeads™ for immunomagnetic separation of cells. The DynaMag™-5 magnetic stand accommodates centrifuge tubes with a diameter of 11–16 mm (e.g., flow cytometry tubes and most blood collection tubes) and has an ideal working volume of 1–5 mL. This magnetic stand holds 8 tubes and is compatible with all Dynabeads™ (1–4.5 µM diameter).

When using Dynabeads™ for cell separation, a DynaMag™ magnetic stand is required. Different magnetic stands are optimized for different working volumes and tube sizes. See our complete overview of DynaMag™ magnetic stands.

The DynaMag™-5 Magnetic Stand contains the highest magnetic material available on the market, allowing for fast, efficient and consistent separation of any Dynabeads™. The DynaMag™-5 magnetic stand is small and easy to operate, helping to efficiently separate up to 8 cell samples simultaneously.

The included SampleRack has numbered positions (1 to 8) for easy sample control and is designed to ensure good visibility of the sample when placed in the magnetic stand base. Flexible clips hold the tubes in place, allowing the magnetic stand to accommodate many different sized tubes. The SampleRack is a stand-alone unit that removes the magnetic stand base for easy vortexing, rinsing, or resuspension. Additional SampleRacks can be purchased separately.

Note: The DynaMag™-5 Magnetic Stand should not be used with standard 15 mL test tubes; for this purpose, use DynaMag™-15 Magnetic Stand.
