Dynabeads™ M-450 Tosylactivated are 4.5 µm superparamagnetic microbeads containing surface Tosyl groups. The beads covalently bind to the primary amine and sulfhydryl groups in the antibody, positioning it in an optimal position for binding to cell surface proteins. The low background and covalent binding of antibodies make microbeads an excellent choice for cell separation applications when release upstream and downstream from magnetic beads is not required.

• Rapidly remove cells or positively isolate target cells for downstream molecular analysis
• Ideal for cell isolation procedures using your own unique antibodies
• Multiple antibodies can be coupled to the same beads for non-cellular applications (e.g. cell activation)

Coupling Procedure
The preferred antibody can be incubated overnight with Dynabeads™ M-450 Tosylactivated Beads Complete covalent coupling. Optimal coupling occurs at high pH (8.5–9.5) and 37°C. For pH-labile antibodies, coupling can be performed in an alternative buffer at pH 7.4.

Not recommended for immunoprecipitation (IP)
Not recommended for IP as these 4.5 µ m Tosylactivate beads have lower surface capacity per unit mass.
