UltraPure™ Calf Thymus, Herring Sperm or Salmon Sperm DNA Solution is a sheared, ready-to-use DNA solution , can be used directly to prepare prehybridization and hybridization solutions. These prepared solutions are used to block non-specific adsorption of probes to the membrane surface. DNA solutions are prepared using phenol/chloroform extracted high-purity DNA and DNase- and RNase-free (DEPC-treated) deionized distilled water and sheared to an average size of ≤2,000 bp. Adjust concentration to 10 mg/ml.
