Thermo Scientific Pro-Detect Rapid Human Fc Detection Kit is a single-use, depth-finding lateral flow kit that For quick and easy detection of human Fc-tagged proteins in protein expression and purification systems. The lateral flow assay uses membrane-based test strips coated with dye-conjugated antibodies specific for the human Fc tag, providing a visual colored readout for detection in ten minutes. This assay can be used to detect human Fc-tagged proteins directly from cell culture media (supernatants) or cell lysates without the need for any special instrumentation or handling.

Pro-Detect Rapid Test Kit Features:
Ease of Adoption—Lateral flow test strips can be used early in expression and throughout the expression process to monitor and Confirm expression of desired protein tagged target
Easy, fast method—Dilute the sample with the diluent provided and immerse it in the lateral flow test strip, it can be used in 5-10 Get visual results in minutes
Sensitive—detect protein markers in supernatant or cell lysate samples at concentrations as low as μg/mL
Specificity< /b>—The assay does not cross-react with common lysis and protein preparation reagents
Reliable—Results are similar to other antibody immunoassays, including Western blots and ELISAs
Long shelf life—Stable for at least one year at 4°C

Simply add appropriately diluted tissue culture supernatant, lysate, or small purified protein sample to a test tube or microplate into the wells of the well plate and dip the lateral flow test strips into each Pro-Detect Rapid Assay. The gold-coupled detection antibody embedded in the test strip forms a complex with the tagged protein in the sample. These complexes traverse the length of the strip membrane and bind at the test and control lines. The results are shown as red bands.
