Invitrogen Platinum Direct PCR Universal Master Mix is used to directly amplify DNA targets from a variety of sample types without the need for purified DNA. This master mix contains high-performance Platinum II Taq Hot Start DNA Polymerase Platinum II Taq Hot Start DNA Polymerase and dNTPs, with innovative buffers, enable universal annealing temperatures in direct PCR applications Excellent results.

Platinum Direct PCR Universal Master Mix features include:
• Enables direct DNA amplification of a variety of samples using Platinum II Taq Hot-Start DNA Polymerase engineered for high inhibitor tolerance Added
•Using innovative buffer, a universal primer annealing temperature of 60° C can be used for different samples
•Based on Platinum hot start technology, it has excellent specificity, sensitivity and yield

Platinum Direct PCR Universal Master Mix can successfully amplify target DNA sequences from samples from a variety of sources, including animal, human, plant, insect, algae and bacterial samples. This kit includes optimized reagents to help you achieve excellent results. The fast lysis protocol can efficiently amplify templates up to 8 kb, making it easy to co-cycle fragments of different lengths. Samples in lysis buffer can be stored for later use. Platinum Direct PCR Universal Master Mix provides a separate tube of GC enhancer for amplifying samples with high GC content to improve amplification specificity and yield.

Platinum II Taq DNA Polymerase is engineered for faster amplification and greater inhibitor tolerance. The enzyme is modified with a proprietary antibody, and the enzyme activity is inhibited at room temperature. In the initial denaturation step, the enzyme modification is released under high temperature conditions, and the DNA polymerase activity is activated. This automatic "hot start" technology not only improves the sensitivity, specificity and yield of the reaction, but also provides great convenience for the reaction system to be prepared at room temperature.

Platinum Direct PCR Master Mix's buffer contains a unique formulation that allows most primer pairs designed according to conventional primer design rules to anneal at the universal annealing temperature of 60°C. Stabilizing molecules in the buffer enhance the stability of the primer-template duplex during annealing, resulting in higher specificity without the need to optimize the annealing temperature for each primer pair. Different PCR reactions can be amplified simultaneously using the same protocol, using a common annealing temperature and extension time calculated based on the longest fragment, while amplifying target fragments of different sizes.
