RNAqueous™-Miniprep Kit is designed for use with guanidine-based lysis/denaturant and glass fiber filter isolation technology from micropipettes. Isolate phenol-free total RNA from samples (e.g., fewer than 500,000 cultured cells, only 10 laser capture microdissected cells, or ≤10 mg of tissue). The kit contains DNA-free™ DNA removal reagent, making the isolated RNA particularly suitable for RT-PCR. The kit provides:

How it works
Dissolve the sample in a powerful chaotropic solution and purify the RNA in a glass fiber filter specially designed for very small samples. Simple modifications of this protocol enable the recovery of large and small RNA species including tRNA, 5S rRNA, and microRNA. RNA is eluted in a very small volume of 20 µL. Residual genomic DNA can be efficiently removed using the DNA-free™ system included in the kit. The RNAqueous™ Miniprep Kit contains sufficient reagents for 50 isolations of RNA (without DNA).
