The Thermo Scientific GeneJET RNA Purification Kit is a simple, efficient system for purifying mammalian cells and tissues from cultured , total RNA from human blood cells, bacteria and yeast.

This kit uses silica membrane technology in the form of a convenient spin column, which is easy to use and does not require the use of tedious cesium chloride gradients, alcohol precipitation, or toxic phenol-chloroform extraction.

RNA molecules longer than 200 nucleotides can be isolated with the GeneJET RNA Purification Kit within 15 minutes of the lysis step. High-quality purified RNA can be used in a variety of downstream applications, including RT-PCR, RT-qPCR, Northern blotting, and other RNA analyses.
