Thermo Scientific Proteinase K, available in 5 x 1 mL aliquots, is an enzyme capable of opening aliphatic, aromatic or hydrophobic An enzyme that breaks down the peptide bond at the carboxyl terminus of amino acids. Proteinase K belongs to the serine protease family. This product can hydrolyze the smallest tetrapeptide.
Product Features
• Ready-to-use solution
• Compatible with a wide range of reaction conditions
Applications< br>
• Isolating genomic DNA from mouse tail
• Isolating genomic DNA from cultured cells
• Removing DNase and RNase during isolation of DNA and RNA from tissues or cell lines
